AnalyseAPI iterates over the configured splits and performs the residuals analysis for each one of them. For the details of the residual analysis please consult the ./docs/design/technical_breakdown.md document residing with the source code.

The prequisites on the fields of a config.Splits object for CleaveSplits to be able to operate are:

• For each config.Split in Splits the Name and Files fields have been populated.
