Overview

Package pngcanvas implements a canvas type as an adapter to the Go-Graphics drawing library.

Note: With the image/vector package, this package seems to be unnecessary. It will probably be smarter to draw to an SVG canvas and then use package vector's rasterizer to produce a pixel image.

Functions

func NewCanvas

func NewCanvas(width, height float64) gfx.Canvas

func T

func T() tracing.Trace

We are tracing to the graphics trace

Types

type GGCanvas

type GGCanvas struct {
	// contains filtered or unexported fields
}

A canvas type as a bridge to the Go Graphics drawing package.

func (*GGCanvas) AddContour

func (ggc *GGCanvas) AddContour(contour gfx.DrawableContour, linethickness float64,
	linecol color.Color, fillcol color.Color)

Interface Canvas. Add a stroke to the graphics context. If linecol is non-void, a line will be drawn. If fillcol is non-void and the path is closed, the path's inside area will be filled.

If tracing mode is DebugLevel red dots are drawn for the contour's knots.

func (*GGCanvas) AsImage

func (ggc *GGCanvas) AsImage() image.Image

Return the drawing as a stdlib image.

func (*GGCanvas) H

func (ggc *GGCanvas) H() float64

Interface Canvas. Return graphic's height.

func (*GGCanvas) SetOption

func (ggc *GGCanvas) SetOption(opts int)

Interface Canvas. Set drawing options. Currently only gfx.PENSQUARE and gfx.PENCIRCLE are understood. They determine linecap and and linejoin parameters.

func (*GGCanvas) Shipout

func (ggc *GGCanvas) Shipout(w io.Writer) bool

Shipout the picture to an output device.

func (*GGCanvas) W

func (ggc *GGCanvas) W() float64

Interface Canvas. Return graphic's width.

type PNGOutputRoutine

type PNGOutputRoutine struct {
	// contains filtered or unexported fields
}

Output routine to produce PNG format files.

func NewPNGOutputRoutine

func NewPNGOutputRoutine() *PNGOutputRoutine

Create a new PNG output routine.

func (*PNGOutputRoutine) Shipout

func (pngoutp *PNGOutputRoutine) Shipout(name string, image image.Image)

Ship out an image to file. The filename is chosen from the image name. * If the image name is empty, this routine will use a filename pattern * and a serial number for each image to output.
