Functions

func NewDefaultEndpointResolver

func NewDefaultEndpointResolver() *internalendpoints.Resolver

NewDefaultEndpointResolver constructs a new service endpoint resolver

func WithAPIOptions

func WithAPIOptions(optFns ...func(*middleware.Stack) error) func(*Options)

WithAPIOptions returns a functional option for setting the Client's APIOptions option.

func WithEndpointResolver deprecated

func WithEndpointResolver(v EndpointResolver) func(*Options)

Deprecated: EndpointResolver and WithEndpointResolver. Providing a value for this field will likely prevent you from using any endpoint-related service features released after the introduction of EndpointResolverV2 and BaseEndpoint. To migrate an EndpointResolver implementation that uses a custom endpoint, set the client option BaseEndpoint instead.

func WithEndpointResolverV2 added in v1.12.0

func WithEndpointResolverV2(v EndpointResolverV2) func(*Options)

WithEndpointResolverV2 returns a functional option for setting the Client's EndpointResolverV2 option.

func WithSigV4SigningName added in v1.17.2

func WithSigV4SigningName(name string) func(*Options)

WithSigV4SigningName applies an override to the authentication workflow to use the given signing name for SigV4-authenticated operations.

This is an advanced setting. The value here is FINAL, taking precedence over the resolved signing name from both auth scheme resolution and endpoint resolution.

func WithSigV4SigningRegion added in v1.17.2

func WithSigV4SigningRegion(region string) func(*Options)

WithSigV4SigningRegion applies an override to the authentication workflow to use the given signing region for SigV4-authenticated operations.

This is an advanced setting. The value here is FINAL, taking precedence over the resolved signing region from both auth scheme resolution and endpoint resolution.

Types

type AuthResolverParameters added in v1.17.2

type AuthResolverParameters struct {
	// The name of the operation being invoked.
	Operation string

	// The region in which the operation is being invoked.
	Region string
}

AuthResolverParameters contains the set of inputs necessary for auth scheme resolution.

type AuthSchemeResolver added in v1.17.2

type AuthSchemeResolver interface {
	ResolveAuthSchemes(context.Context, *AuthResolverParameters) ([]*smithyauth.Option, error)
}

AuthSchemeResolver returns a set of possible authentication options for an operation.

type Client

type Client struct {
	// contains filtered or unexported fields
}

Client provides the API client to make operations call for AWS Route53 Recovery Control Config.

func New

func New(options Options, optFns ...func(*Options)) *Client

New returns an initialized Client based on the functional options. Provide additional functional options to further configure the behavior of the client, such as changing the client's endpoint or adding custom middleware behavior.

func NewFromConfig

func NewFromConfig(cfg aws.Config, optFns ...func(*Options)) *Client

NewFromConfig returns a new client from the provided config.

func (*Client) CreateCluster

func (c *Client) CreateCluster(ctx context.Context, params *CreateClusterInput, optFns ...func(*Options)) (*CreateClusterOutput, error)

Create a new cluster. A cluster is a set of redundant Regional endpoints against which you can run API calls to update or get the state of one or more routing controls. Each cluster has a name, status, Amazon Resource Name (ARN), and an array of the five cluster endpoints (one for each supported Amazon Web Services Region) that you can use with API calls to the cluster data plane.

func (*Client) CreateControlPanel

func (c *Client) CreateControlPanel(ctx context.Context, params *CreateControlPanelInput, optFns ...func(*Options)) (*CreateControlPanelOutput, error)

Creates a new control panel. A control panel represents a group of routing controls that can be changed together in a single transaction. You can use a control panel to centrally view the operational status of applications across your organization, and trigger multi-app failovers in a single transaction, for example, to fail over an Availability Zone or Amazon Web Services Region.

func (*Client) CreateRoutingControl

func (c *Client) CreateRoutingControl(ctx context.Context, params *CreateRoutingControlInput, optFns ...func(*Options)) (*CreateRoutingControlOutput, error)

Creates a new routing control. A routing control has one of two states: ON and OFF. You can map the routing control state to the state of an Amazon Route 53 health check, which can be used to control traffic routing. To get or update the routing control state, see the Recovery Cluster (data plane) API actions for Amazon Route 53 Application Recovery Controller.

func (*Client) CreateSafetyRule

func (c *Client) CreateSafetyRule(ctx context.Context, params *CreateSafetyRuleInput, optFns ...func(*Options)) (*CreateSafetyRuleOutput, error)

Creates a safety rule in a control panel. Safety rules let you add safeguards around changing routing control states, and for enabling and disabling routing controls, to help prevent unexpected outcomes. There are two types of safety rules: assertion rules and gating rules. Assertion rule: An assertion rule enforces that, when you change a routing control state, that a certain criteria is met. For example, the criteria might be that at least one routing control state is On after the transaction so that traffic continues to flow to at least one cell for the application. This ensures that you avoid a fail-open scenario. Gating rule: A gating rule lets you configure a gating routing control as an overall "on/off" switch for a group of routing controls. Or, you can configure more complex gating scenarios, for example by configuring multiple gating routing controls. For more information, see Safety rules (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/r53recovery/latest/dg/routing-control.safety-rules.html) in the Amazon Route 53 Application Recovery Controller Developer Guide.

You can map the routing control state to the state of an Amazon Route 53 health check, which can be used to control routing. To get or update the routing control state, see the Recovery Cluster (data plane) API actions for Amazon Route 53 Application Recovery Controller.
