dat

A simple Go program to print the date and time.

Installation

Go must be installed and configured.

Use the following commands to install the program:

1. Get the source - go get github.com/brettchalupa/dat
2. Install dat - go install github.com/brettchalupa/dat
3. Make Go bins accessible to PATH by adding export PATH=$PATH:$GOPATH/bin to the shell config.

Usage

Use the dat command to output the current date and time.

For example:

$ dat
Feb 15, 2016 at 12:26pm (PST)
