GetDeviceByUUID gets a block device's mount path (/dev/device) from it's UUID. LXD does not guarantee that the mount path of the device a storage pool points to doesn't change, but UUID is more stable.

func IsSnap() (bool, error)

IsSnap returns true if lxd was installed using snap, and false otherwise. This is necessary because the snap install puts its config file in a different location on disk.
