Imager

The Imager is a Kubernetes Admission Webhook that provides safety against the risk of public container images disappearing from the registry and breaking Deployments or DaemonSets, while we use them.

The webhook watches the Depoloyments and DaemonSets and creates a local cache of the images by uploading to a separate Container Registry and reconfiguring the Depoloyment or DaemonSet to use these copies. It does so before the Kubernetes Object specifications are persisted by the API Server.
