An anime themed Discord bot written in Go (using the DiscordGo library) to fetch cute anime images and GIFs!

Self-hosting

1. Clone The Repository :

git clone https://github.com/ni5arga/discordgo-anime-bot/
cd discordgo-anime-bot

1. Configure the Bot Token :

• Open the main.go file in the project.
• Replace "YOUR_BOT_TOKEN" with your bot token.

1. Install Required Go Packages :

• Install the required Go packages using go get:

go get github.com/bwmarrin/discordgo
go get github.com/tidwall/gjson

1. Run The Bot :

go run main.go

Usage

Once the bot is up and running, you can interact with it in your Discord server by sending commands that start with an exclamation mark (!). You can check list of all the commands by sending !help.
