README

sqsman

A simple UI for managing your SQS Queues (ideally your local stack queues)

Inspiration

The idea comes from using the RabbitMQ Management UI to manage and test your rabbit configuration. While working on a project for work, we use localstack to run our SQS Queues locally and found the aws-cli to be a good way to work with them, but hard to type the command out fully. Enter the idea for SQSMan!

Usage

To start the web application, run sqsman serve. This will start the application on port 5000.

Development

Please check the Makefile in the root of the project for available commands. Here is a quick rundown:

    # Run Frontend
    cd client
    yarn install
    yarn start

    # Run Development API server
    make serve

    # Run configure config command
    make configure
